Small application photos
For a 50 KB limit, check the required minimum dimensions before selecting a dimension preset. A crisp original usually gives you more room to reduce bytes than an already blurred download.
Set the exact byte ceiling
50 decimal KB means 50,000 bytes. With the binary option checked, the same target permits 51,200 bytes. The compressor displays the active limit and output bytes; use the convention your destination specifies.
Compress and check
- Select your original JPG, PNG, WebP or supported HEIC image.
- Choose the accepted output format and confirm the 50 KB target.
- Press Compress. Only a successful result marked at or under the target fits the byte ceiling.
- Download, reopen and inspect the file. Confirm dimensions, format and visual detail as well as bytes.
When fitting the size is not enough
The encoder may reduce dimensions. PNG and WebP can preserve transparency; JPG uses a white background. This tool does not crop faces, validate application rules, recover blurred detail or pad files to a minimum size. A failed attempt can leave an above-limit best effort; check the result badge before using it.
